G'day from Seville Grove! With departure day looming just around the corner, the reality of this incredible journey is well and truly sinking in. Lisa and I have been deep in the throes of last-minute packing, and I have to say, fitting everything we need into our caravan home requires a bit of Tetris-level skill!

But the real highlight today wasn't the folding and organizing—though we've become quite efficient at maximizing every inch of drawer space. No, the star of the show is our newest travel companion: Dave the Minion! Before leaving my job, the team—affectionately known as Mark's Minions—presented me with this cheeky little fellow as a going-away gift. How fitting is that? Dave is now officially part of the crew, and he's already proving to be quite helpful supervising our packing efforts from his perch on the dresser.

As we've been sorting through clothes and essentials, carefully stacking everything in neutral tones and the odd splash of coral, I can't help but feel a surge of excitement. This caravan bedroom might be compact, but it's going to be our home on wheels for months to come. Every nook has a purpose, every drawer carefully organized. Dave seems to approve of our efforts, his cheerful yellow presence adding a bit of fun to the practical business of preparation.

We've also been poring over our Australian bucket list guide, marking off the top destinations we're determined to experience. The Whitsundays section has us absolutely buzzing—74 tropical islands, pristine coral reefs, and beaches that look like they've been painted by the gods themselves. From snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef to exploring Hamilton Island, it's the kind of coastal paradise that makes all this packing worthwhile.

The anticipation is building with every folded shirt and every page turned. Dave the Minion is ready, our caravan is nearly packed, and the open road is calling our names. Australia, here we come!
