Following our prehistoric and avian adventures at Dinosaur World, a logical next step was obviously lunch.

We found ourselves at the Denmark Good Food Factory, a cidery that also boasts a rather appealing selection of other tempting treats. The signs out front certainly promised a "Foodie Oasis," and we were feeling rather parched and peckish.

While the burgers, although not quite reaching the heights of Duckett's Mill and Cottage Cafe in Denmark, were certainly satisfying.

They filled a very necessary gap. We also opted for a side of sweet potato fries; they proved to be a wise decision.

Perhaps the most memorable aspect of our lunchtime repast, however, was the local wildlife. We found ourselves sharing our outdoor table with a rather persistent peacock.

This was no shy, retiring bird. It was quite bold in its attempts to sample our lunch! We managed to keep it at bay, though not without a bit of amusement.

Before departing, we couldn’t resist a little souvenir shopping. We purchased several jars of locally made jams, including a delightful lemon curd.

These will certainly add a little bit of local flavour to our morning toast in the weeks to come. A little bit of Western Australia to remind us of our RamblinOz travels as we continue our journey.
