After all our walking around at the beach, we decided brunch was in order, and after a beautiful drive through the large trees that line this part of the road, we arrived at Ducketts Mill Wines & Denmark Farmhouse Cheese for a much-earned feed.

The drive itself was incredibly pleasant, the road winding beneath a canopy of towering trees; a proper welcome to the Denmark countryside. Seeing those trees made us feel quite small, although perhaps that's just the onset of retirement catching up with us.
Ducketts Mill is a delightful spot, offering a range of their own wines and cheeses, as well as a tempting menu of brunch and lunch options.

After perusing the menu, we settled on a couple of sandwiches and some tea. Lisa, of course, opted for a fancy floral teacup. We swear, the woman has a sixth sense for spotting vintage china.
Our meals arrived promptly, and we must say, they were quite satisfying. The ingredients were fresh and the portions were generous.

We were thankful for the break and enjoyed watching other happy customers enjoying the morning.

Sitting there, with our bellies full and our spirits high, we agreed that Ducketts Mill was a worthy stop on our Denmark adventure.
