We bid farewell to Albany, a town that had certainly made a positive impression on us. Our next destination was Denmark, a relatively short drive along the coast. Since our check-in time at the caravan park was still a few hours away, we found ourselves with some time to spare. What to do? Shopping, of course!

Lisa and Jo were keen to explore the local shops, and Mike and Steve, ever the supportive (and some might say, easily manipulated) partners, dutifully tagged along. We joke, of course. We do make excellent packhorses, capable of carrying a surprising volume of purchases. Several hours of retail therapy later, after much back-and-forth between various establishments, the appointed check-in time finally arrived.

Mike and Jo were in the relative luxury of a cabin,

while we began the familiar process of setting up our caravan. There's a certain rhythm to it, a well-rehearsed dance of levelling, connecting utilities, and unpacking. It's not glamorous, perhaps, but it's our little home on wheels. Once everything was shipshape, we collapsed indoors and watched television. It was the perfect way to end a busy day of retail therapy. We may have spent an afternoon in Denmark, but there is so much more to see.
