Our journey pressed onward, with our sights set firmly on Albany. First, however, was a lunch stop in the timber town of Manjimup.

Manjimup boasts a very nice, large stopping area, thoughtfully designed to accommodate larger vehicles, which we certainly appreciated. While we no longer have children travelling with us, we still observed the vibrant skate park with appreciation, recognising its benefit to families on the road. It's always good to see rural communities providing facilities for all ages.
Being a Sunday in a smaller country town, options for dining were understandably limited. We selected a cafe and perused the menu.

While the food was acceptable, perhaps some of the descriptions of certain ingredients took a bit of, shall we say, "artistic license." Regardless, it sustained us for the next leg.

We weren't expecting a culinary masterpiece, just solid sustenance.

A brief pit stop in the even smaller town of Rocky Gully followed. Finally, we arrived in Albany, our destination for the next four nights. We're looking forward to exploring the coastline that we have heard so much about.
