Venus Bay, a charming little spot on the Eyre Peninsula. We decided to start our day the best way possible: with a sunrise.

The sun over the bay was a spectacular sight, burning through the early morning haze. It made getting out of bed before dawn almost worth it. Almost.

After enjoying the sunrise, we decided to explore the coastline. We took a walk along the cliffs, admiring the views and breathing in the fresh sea air. The coastline here is ruggedly beautiful, with dramatic cliffs, sandy coves, and the ever-present ocean stretching out to the horizon.

It was a glorious day and we walked and walked, the coastline revealing a variety of vistas. The rock formations near the beach were striking.

Someone had even built a rock cairn on the high ground.

The walk continued around the bay, the sun growing warmer. The color of the ocean was remarkable against the orange cliffs in the background. We spent a good long while just taking it all in.

All in all, a very fine morning well spent.
