We’re currently settled at Len Barker Reserve Bush Campground, Point Souttar. It has been a delightful sojourn in solitude.

Awning out, the sky darkens over the rocky coastline at Point Souttar. A change is coming.

The weather, however, seems to be taking a turn. The sun has been replaced with a more sombre, clouded sky. We can practically smell the shift in the wind, a precursor, no doubt, to a change in the weather patterns.

The beauty of Point Souttar is undeniable, even under these slightly ominous skies. The way the land meets the water here is particularly striking. From our vantage point, the coastline stretches out, a rugged tapestry of rock and scrub. The ocean, even on a dull day, retains its allure, a vast expanse that humbles us with its sheer scale.

Through the window, the wide, flat coastline stretches into the sea, a rugged view from our quiet camp at Point Souttar.

We find ourselves drawn to the coast, despite the growing clouds, to witness the daily drama of the sea. It's a calming influence, if you ignore the impending rain.
