Back at our camp at Len Barker Reserve Bush Campground, the heat was certainly making itself known. While we appreciate the relative solitude of the campground, the temperatures were pushing us towards finding a way to cool down.

Lisa decided the best course of action was to wade into the clear, turquoise waters right off the beach. She says the water was wonderfully refreshing, even if it only came up to her knees. It seems the ideal depth for contemplative paddling, if nothing else.
