Kingston SE presented us with the kind of coastal serenity we’ve come to appreciate on our travels. After the inland turns of the past few days, the scent of the ocean was a welcome change. We found a spot directly on the beach – quite permissible here, and a treat we don’t often indulge in.
It's moments like these that make the whole journey worthwhile: the gentle crash of waves, the expansive horizon, and the feeling of sand between our toes. We were able to sit in the shade and enjoy the fresh air. We noticed a couple of kite surfers enjoying the steady breeze out on the water. We find it fascinating to watch others engage in the simple pleasures that life has to offer.
Kingston SE certainly offers a unique brand of relaxation. It’s not overly crowded, and the locals seem to have perfected the art of unhurried living. We spent the better part of the day simply soaking it all in, a welcome respite from the usual demands of life. We can see why people choose to settle here.
