Robe, South Australia, offered us an unexpected treat. After a morning spent taking in the rugged beauty of the Limestone Coast, we found ourselves seeking a cool respite. We spotted what seemed to be a mirage shimmering in the afternoon sun: an ice cream shop seemingly built into an enchanted garden.

The entrance was framed by lush greenery, the sign almost swallowed by the verdant embrace. It was an invitation we couldn’t refuse. Inside, the shop was even more remarkable. The walls were adorned with vibrant murals, depicting scenes of maritime adventures and local landmarks, all interwoven with…well, ice cream.

Inside the ice cream shop, the colorful murals and exotic flavors created a feast for the senses.

It felt like stepping into a child’s whimsical dream.

We sampled a few of the exotic flavours, each one more delicious than the last. Lisa opted for the passionfruit sorbet, while I, never one to resist a classic, chose the vanilla bean. It was the perfect end to a lovely afternoon in Robe.
