The Victorian coastline continues to surprise us, and Cape Paterson was no exception. Arriving there, we immediately sensed a town where the ocean dictated the pace of life. It's a small community, quiet and unassuming, which suited us perfectly.
Our first order of business was to explore the beaches. The rock formations at Cape Paterson are particularly striking. The colours, too, were fascinating, ranging from pale creams to deep browns and the occasional dash of vibrant orange. One wonders if there is an artist somewhere recording the changing scenes!
It's not a town with a lot of flash, but Cape Paterson offers something far more valuable: peace, quiet, and a front-row seat to the raw power of nature. And sometimes, that's exactly what we need.
