Tura Beach, New South Wales, continues to surprise us with its diverse landscapes. We have found that just when we think we’ve seen the best the coast has to offer, another hidden gem reveals itself.

Our day began with a leisurely stroll along the main beach. The sand is the color of honey, and the water a mesmerizing shade of turquoise. There were a few families enjoying the sun, but it felt remarkably uncrowded. After fighting for space at some of Western Australia's popular beaches, it was a welcome change.
We spent the afternoon exploring the rocky headlands that frame the beach.

The contrast between the deep red rock formations and the crashing blue waves is quite dramatic. It's the kind of scenery that makes you want to just sit and stare for hours, contemplating the sheer power of nature. The wind was up, and the spray from the waves was refreshing.
Further along the coast, the colours became even more vibrant. The red rocks deepened to a rusty hue, and the vegetation clinging to the cliffs added splashes of green.

It's a photographer's dream, really.
The whole day was a testament to the quiet beauty of the New South Wales South Coast. Tura Beach may not be as famous as some other coastal spots, but for us, that’s part of its charm.
