Our travels took us to Mogo, New South Wales, a place that proves even the smallest towns can pack a delightful punch. The main street, while compact, is a treasure trove of unique shops and treats.
We started our exploration, quite naturally, with dessert. The Mogo Fudge & Ice Cream shop was simply irresistible.

We sampled a few different flavors of fudge (for research purposes, of course), and decided on a classic chocolate. Absolutely divine! It’s just the sort of place that makes you feel like a kid again, even if our knees are starting to creak a bit.
Next, we moseyed along to the Clocktower Arcade.

This place is a hub of activity, offering everything from pies and coffee to artisan wares. We took a peek inside the shops, admiring the local craftsmanship and unique souvenirs. We didn't purchase a carved wooden wizard, but almost gave in to temptation. We noted that Mogo Pies was busy, so will stop there for lunch next time.
The overall atmosphere in Mogo is incredibly welcoming and laid-back. We took a leisurely stroll, enjoying the peace and quiet that is only occasionally broken by other tourists doing the same. There are plenty of charming little shops to explore, each with its own character and charm. We spotted a shop selling hammocks near a car with a European number plate.

Mogo is a welcome break from the hustle and bustle. If you're ever passing through the South Coast of New South Wales, be sure to make a pit stop in Mogo. You won't be disappointed.
