After our time in Berry, we decided to go to the delightful town of Milton, New South Wales. What a charming place! We both immediately appreciated the town's obvious character, a mix of historical architecture and modern amenities. It's the kind of place where you can browse antique shops one minute and enjoy a gourmet meal the next.

Our stomachs led the way first, and we found ourselves drawn to a place called "Thai & Asian Cuisine What's Up Bowl?"

The building itself is quite striking, a beautifully maintained piece of Milton's history. The signs looked promising, and a quick peek inside confirmed our suspicions: this was a place we needed to try.

The interior was just as appealing as the exterior, with a bright and airy dining area.

The seating was comfortable, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. We perused the menu and decided to order a couple of bowls to share.

Steve opted for the Gado Gado salad, a vibrant mix of vegetables and peanut sauce.

We must admit, the presentation alone was enough to make our mouths water. Lisa, on the other hand, went for the Teriyaki Chicken Bowl, which was equally visually appealing.

The flavor profiles were distinct and satisfying, and we left feeling pleasantly full and content. It's safe to say this particular restaurant is serving top-notch dishes in the heart of Milton.

After lunch, we decided a little treat was in order. Fortunately, Milton had us covered on that front as well. We spotted a sign for Woodstock Chocolate Co., advertising couverture chocolate and locally made gelato.

Who were we to resist? While we appreciate the natural wonders of the bush, it is not a proper holiday without a sweet treat.

We enjoyed a cone of rich chocolate gelato, a perfect end to a pleasant afternoon in Milton. It's these little discoveries, these unexpected gems, that make our travels so worthwhile. Milton, New South Wales, proved to be a delightful stop on our journey, a place we'll fondly remember for its charm, its cuisine, and its chocolate.
