Our day took us from the bustling markets of Berry to the coastal vistas of Gerringong, New South Wales. It all started with a rather necessary purchase at the Berry Showgrounds Markets: a new towel. Ours was getting rather threadbare, and, as seasoned travellers, we know the importance of having decent beach gear.

This one, emblazoned with a stunning sunset photograph, seemed just the ticket. It even boasts being sand-free β a claim we're keen to put to the test.
With our new acquisition safely stowed, we made our way to Gerringong. Lunch was calling, and Diggies at Blowhole Point offered not only a satisfying meal but also spectacular views.

The perfectly positioned establishment looks out over the captivating coastline. We settled in and enjoyed a leisurely lunch, watching the waves crash against the rocks.
After lunch, we were ready to explore the area. The rock pool at the beach was a hive of activity, with families enjoying the sunshine and the refreshing water.

Itβs always a pleasant sight to see people enjoying the natural beauty of the New South Wales coast.
Of course, no trip to this region is complete without a stop at the Berry Treat Factory. We always seem to gravitate there when we are nearby.

They have all the treats and goodies you would ever want. We couldn't resist stocking up on some local jams and chutneys.

It's important to support local businesses, and besides, we have a weakness for artisanal preserves.
The view of the rock pool from sea level shows the clear water.

It was a great spot to relax and unwind after a busy day. Another memorable day on the road.
