Having thoroughly enjoyed our time amidst the natural beauty surrounding Bendeela, we decided to spend another morning exploring the heart of Kangaroo Valley, New South Wales. It's always interesting to delve deeper into the character of a place, especially one as charming as this.

Our first stop was the Kangaroo Valley Court House. A solid, sandstone structure, it speaks to a history of law and order in this picturesque valley. You can almost imagine the stern-faced judge dispensing justice back in the day, though hopefully not too frequently.

It's a testament to the area's heritage.

Continuing our walk, we soon came upon the Kangaroo Valley Hall.

This building is clearly the social hub of the community. We pictured generations of locals gathering here for dances, meetings, and celebrations. The building is beautifully maintained. These places often define the area's identity.

It was a gentle reminder that every small town has its own story to tell, and we were happy to listen, or rather, observe.
