We found ourselves unexpectedly delayed in Orange, New South Wales, not admiring the local scenery as planned, but rather staring down the barrel of a major mechanical issue.

Fortunately, the mechanic in nearby Orange, Haigh Truck & 4WD Repairs, was able to diagnose the problem quickly and source a replacement turbocharger. Ordering it wasn't cheap, and we can see the final bill, but the important thing is getting back on the road. Delays like this are just a part of the adventure.
