Another day saw us in Orange, New South Wales, a town that certainly lives up to its region's reputation for agricultural prosperity and historical significance. We found ourselves drawn to the heart of the city. It’s one of those places where you can almost hear the echoes of a bygone era as you wander the streets.
We spent the better part of the day on foot, cameras in hand, admiring the architecture.

Buildings like the grand old Palmers Centrepoint Auction building on Summer Street are a testament to the ambition and prosperity of the past. The building boasts an elaborate facade, complete with detailed columns, arches, and decorative trim, each element telling a story of the city’s rich history.
Further along, the city's original Post Office is also an impressive sight.

It is a stately structure of similar vintage. We observed the careful detailing, the elegant arched windows, and the solid construction that has clearly stood the test of time. It is a stately building of classic design.
Orange has a great combination of historical charm and modern vitality. It's a place that encourages you to slow down, appreciate the details, and imagine the lives of those who came before.
