Well, the roar of the engines has finally faded, and our ears are still ringing. We had been looking forward to this day for ages, and it didn't disappoint. Mount Panorama, New South Wales, certainly knows how to put on a show!

We found ourselves nestled in our seats at Hell Corner, and settled in for the long haul. We watched every single lap from the same spot. The atmosphere was absolutely electric, the air thick with anticipation. The ground visibly vibrated as each car sped past, the smell of burnt rubber filling the air.

The Repco Bathurst 1000 is a true test of both driver and machine. There are 161 laps of pure intensity. The strategies unfolded and shifted, the tension built, and the crowd was on its feet.

The race concluded with a victory for Brodie Kostecki and Todd Hazelwood, piloting the #1 Chevrolet Camaro Mk.6 for Erebus Motorsport. To see Brodie, another West Aussie, take the win was a thrill. They started from pole position and never relinquished their lead.

They thoroughly earned it. The Chiko sponsored car looked great all day. It was a fitting end to an amazing day at Mount Panorama. Now, if you'll excuse us, we need to find somewhere quieter to recover our hearing.
