Our stay at Wambool, New South Wales, began with a view that stretched across rolling green hills.

The morning light painted the landscape in hues of emerald and gold, punctuated by the dark silhouettes of cattle grazing peacefully. The air was crisp and clean, a welcome change from the dust of the open road.

It didn't take long for us to realize we weren't the only visitors to this picturesque spot. Our neighbours, a herd of curious cattle, ambled over to investigate.

Lisa, always one to appreciate a photo opportunity, took the chance to get a closer look. They seemed just as interested in us as we were in them, though we suspect their curiosity was more about whether we had any treats. They were a quiet bunch, thankfully, unlike some of the overly enthusiastic "neighbours" we've encountered on our travels. They eventually decided we weren't offering anything of interest and wandered off, presumably to continue their important work of converting grass into... well, you know. It was a tranquil start to our time in Wambool, a reminder that sometimes the best experiences are the simplest ones.
