Tocumwal, New South Wales, has been treating us to some rather brisk weather lately, a stark contrast to the warmer temperatures we enjoyed further north. Of course, with the temperature dropping, certain... necessities become a little more pressing. Namely, a reliable diesel heater.

Unfortunately, it seems our heater had other ideas. It decided to stage its own little rebellion against the incoming cold, requiring some… shall we say, "persuasion" to get back in line. Diagnosing the issue took longer than expected, involving more wires and circuit boards than we care to admit we understood. But that's all part of the adventure, isn't it? Armed with a multimeter and a healthy dose of optimism, we dove into the mechanical entrails.
We managed to wrestle the recalcitrant device back into working order. Let's hope this repair job holds, because we have a feeling the worst of the cold is yet to come.
