The GrainCorp silos here are a testament to the town's history, with images depicting the indigenous people, the early settlers and the agricultural roots of the region. You can't miss the striking red locomotive and the majestic Clydesdale horses pulling a plough. The silos stand as a vibrant focal point for Katamatite, a rural community with a population of just over 500 people, and serve as a colourful reminder of the past.

The project, completed in July 2023 by artist Tim Bowtell, clearly holds special meaning for the local Lions Club, whose emblem is proudly displayed at the base of the structure. It's a testament to the power of public art to bring a community together and celebrate its heritage.
