Following our exploration of Ouyen, we decided to make our way towards the Murray River. We always find ourselves drawn to the water, and the prospect of a riverside overnight stop was particularly appealing. The small town of Nyah, Victoria, seemed like the perfect place to break our journey.

We found Nyah to be a quiet, unassuming place, the kind of town where the loudest sound is likely the call of a kookaburra. It's precisely what we needed. We quickly found a spot near the riverbank, the red dirt contrasting sharply with the green foliage.

It was a lovely setting for an evening of quiet reflection. The slow-moving waters of the Murray have a way of washing away the stress of travel. The trees that line the bank have seen more than their fair share of seasons, their gnarled trunks a testament to the power of time and the elements.

After settling in, we took a short stroll along the riverbank. The fresh air and the peaceful ambiance were exactly what we needed after a few days of driving. We are looking forward to seeing what tomorrow brings as we continue our ramblings through the heart of Australia.
