Continuing our exploration of the Victorian Silo Art Trail, we found ourselves in the Shire of Yarriambiack, Victoria, again. This time, our destination was the GrainCorp silos at Rosebery. While smaller than some of the others we've seen, these silos pack a significant artistic punch, thanks to the work of the artist Kaff-eine.
Completed in late 2017, Kaff-eine's artwork depicts themes that, according to the information posted near the silos, "says embody the region's past, present and future."

The silos feature a young female farmer holding a lamb and what we took to be a contemporary horseman. The details are striking, and the scale is, as always, impressive. We found it interesting to see the artist's vision of the area's past and present, and how she visualized their mutual love, trust, and genuine connection.

It’s pieces like this that really highlight the transformative effect of the Silo Art Trail. These structures, once purely functional, now serve as giant canvases, bringing art and visitors to the heart of the Wimmera. They say it's about the region's past, present, and future, but we think it's a testament to the ingenuity and creativity of the present, a gift for both locals and visitors alike.
