Freeling, South Australia, is a town steeped in history, but for many, its claim to fame lies in being the filming location for the beloved television series, McCloud's Daughters. Cruising through town, you immediately recognise the iconic buildings and landscapes that served as the backdrop for Drovers Run.

You can almost hear the echoes of Tess, Claire, and the rest of the gang as you wander past the war memorial, soaking in the small-town atmosphere.
Of course, no visit to Freeling is complete without a nod to one of the most memorable scenes from McCloud's Daughters – the infamous bath scene. While recreating the scene with all the candles and romantic glow would be a treat, the chilly September air made a full dip out of the question.

However, Lisa couldn't resist a quick pose on the edge of a cast-iron bath near a classic windmill – a playful homage to the iconic moment.
The original bath scene, filmed right here in Freeling, featured Tess and Nick enjoying a romantic soak under the stars.

It's a scene that has stayed with fans for years, perfectly capturing the spirit of the show and the beauty of the Australian landscape.
