Embarkation in North Geelong was remarkably smooth. We'd booked well in advance, and the process was streamlined. The marshalling area was quite the sight – a symphony of caravans, campervans, and vehicles of all shapes and sizes.

It’s always fascinating to see how others have kitted out their rigs for extended travel.

Once onboard, securing our spot on the car deck was quick. The space felt surprisingly cozy, and we were soon tucked in amongst our fellow travellers.

The hours passed surprisingly quickly, fuelled by ship-board coffee.

As we approached the Tasmanian coastline, the sunset put on quite a show. The sky exploded with colour, painting a vibrant welcome to our new destination.

A truly spectacular end to our day at sea, and a promising start to our Tasmanian adventure.
