Point Gibbon in South Australia offered us a much-needed respite after several long days. We found ourselves looking out over a stunning vista of turquoise water meeting a pristine white beach. The rugged coastline, dotted with hardy native vegetation, provides a dramatic contrast to the calm waters.

The air here is clean and carries the scent of salt and sea. It’s a world away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and exactly the kind of place we seek out on our RamblinOz Travels. We spent the day exploring the shoreline, enjoying the quiet solitude. The views here are simply stunning. We could easily spend a week just relaxing and enjoying the scenery.

The tide rolls in and out, revealing and concealing rocks covered in seaweed.
The simple act of breathing in the fresh air and hearing the waves crashing against the shore does wonders for the soul, or at least, that's what we told ourselves as we were relaxing! It is hard to beat the peace and quiet of a place like Point Gibbon.
