Our time exploring the Sunshine Coast Regional. We were thoroughly enjoying the sights, sounds, and tastes when, i was required to fly back to Perth. Naturally, we were disappointed to interupt our travels.

The silver lining in this situation came in the form of the incredibly kind people we met at the Retreat rally. They generously offered to store our caravan and vehicle at their home while we flew back in Perth. We were humbled by their offer.

The stunning backyard oasis where our caravan and vehicle found a temporary home. The thatched-roof gazebo is a lovely touch.

It was such a relief knowing that our belongings were safe and secure in their care, allowing us to focus on the matter at hand. The peace of mind they provided was invaluable during a stressful time.

We spent a bit of time with our generous hosts, getting to know them better. The outdoor entertainment area they had was just stunning, and they mentioned spending many relaxing afternoons there.

An inviting outdoor dining setting, perfect for entertaining, which these generous folks are so fond of.

We were extremely thankful for their kindness and support. It’s encounters like these that remind us of the good in people and the strong sense of community that exists among travelers in this great country. We are hoping to be back in the Sunshine Coast soon and continue our travels.
