With the rig settled, we felt ready to really explore what the region had to offer.
A bit of a walk around the town revealed a few points of interest. We happened upon a local pub. A classic Queenslander, it was the sort of establishment that promised a cold beer and a good yarn.
The vibrant green vehicle parked out front certainly added to the visual appeal.
Of course, our explorations wouldn't be complete without a bit of nature. We visited a nearby waterfall, and the sight of the water cascading over the rocks was a welcome change of pace. The sounds of rushing water were incredibly soothing.
It served as a nice reminder that the Sunshine Coast Regional area is more than just beaches.
