In the evening, we were treated to a rather spectacular sunset over the surrounding hills. The silhouettes of trees and distant peaks stood starkly against the fiery glow.
The horizon blazed with orange and gold, fading into the deep blues of the evening sky. It was the kind of scene that reminds us why we love travelling through this vast and varied country. Just another reminder of the stark and beautiful silence of this part of the world.
