After the quiet beauty of Arcadia Bay, we opted for a brief bus ride to the vibrant atmosphere of Florence Bay. The change of pace was certainly noticeable. While the solitude of Arcadia Bay suited us rather well, Florence Bay undeniably had its own allure, a certain energy that's difficult to ignore.

It was one of those days that simply demanded a cold treat, and we were more than happy to oblige. A quick search led us to a vendor with a tempting array of ice creams, and we each selected our preferred flavours, a welcome respite from the tropical warmth.

It's amazing how a simple ice cream can improve one's outlook.
The bay itself was quite picturesque, dotted with boats bobbing gently on the water.

We watched people launching small boats, presumably headed out for a spot of fishing or perhaps just a leisurely cruise. It certainly looked appealing.
Lisa, in particular, seemed taken with the local mode of transport: small, open-topped vehicles available for hire. They definitely seemed like a fun way to explore the island, although perhaps not the most practical for long distances. Still, the novelty factor was undeniable, and Lisa was quite smitten with the idea of tooling around in one.

Whether we partake in that particular activity remains to be seen, but the possibility certainly adds a certain charm to Florence Bay. It's a place that seems designed for carefree enjoyment.
